I'm embarrassed to admit that I tried a new move at the gym today, and pulled something in the process. My back was spasming on the right side, around my rib cage. For hours this went on, until I finally made a rub out of a few drops of coconut oil, some Peppermint, Panaway and Copaiba. Bam. Pain gone. No exaggeration, no kidding. The spasm feels better now. I don't understand it, I certainly can't explain it, but I am grateful for it and I embrace it! Kind of like air conditioning, or the internet. ball gowns under 100
I first ordered my essential oils starter kit over a year ago. Then, life got busy (is it ever not?). The kit sat in my cabinet for months, and rarely saw the light of day. Peppermint once in a while when I had a headache and had taken my daily allotment of Advil. Thieves and Purification in my diffuser when I remembered. A roller bottle of Panaway that my friend Leah Anderson Hartman gave me, which I used once in a while on Katie when she complained of growing pains at night.
Lately, though, the oils have come out of the cabinet. I found unopened bottles of Lemon, Tangerine, Copaiba. I started doing some research online, and reading the essential oils guidebook that my friend Kristina Duckman gave me. And suddenly I'm kicking myself for wasting the past year, when I could have been learning and trying new things and incorporating oils into my every day life.
I recently placed an order for some new products, including Thieves Cleaner. I am excited to try the cleaner since I think it will work well with my Norwex cloths (yes, I'm still Norwexing!). I'll be ordering again soon, as I'm out (YIKES!) of Thieves, Stress Away and Purification. If anyone wants to jump in on my order, let me know - the more the merrier, literally.
Now to go sniff my empty bottle of Stress Away until I fall asleep...
